Linkin Park band had a great performance on MGM Grand Garden Arena stage at the 2012 iHeartRadio Music Festival in Las Vegas on Saturday (September 22, 2012). The nu-metallers wowed the crowd with some of the band’s high-octane hits.
Linkin Park have become the first rock band to amass over one billion views on their official YouTube channel. The Grammy Award-winning group beat out two other rock bands Green Day and Red Hot Chili Peppers to be the first rank. In other Linkin Park news, the members of the group have recently been out promoting their fifth studio album, “Living Things,” as well as the single, "Lost in the Echo." Linkin Park’s multi-instrumentalist and rapper Mike Shinoda shared that their new album and single were more personal, in contrast to the previous release.

Joining Lady Gaga, Justin Bieber and Rihanna as part of the rare "Billion Hits Club," Linkin Park become the first rock band to get a number of viewers of more than one billion. Besides, they also have over 45 million fans on Facebook, making them more popular on the network than Beyonce and Taylor Swift.
Mike Shinoda shows up at the music event. The YouTube milestone follows the news that Linkin Park’s debut album “Hybrid Theory” has sold 10 million copies in the US alone since its release in 2000.
