More than 300 items recovered from the ill-fated Titanic which sank in 1912 is being shown in the O2 Bubble in London. The Titanic was the biggest passenger ship in the world when it left Southampton for New York on its first voyage on April 10, 1912. It was a luxury ship that was said to be unsinkable. However, the ship hit an iceberg. It was sank and took over 1,500 passengers with it. Hundreds items such as a postcard souvenir of St Paul’s Cathedral , bottles of perfume, China with the logo of the White Star Line, musical instruments… found in the ship have been retrieved. The exhibition is drawing the attention of a lot of people
This is the recreation of a first class cabin on the Titanic. Stepping into this cabin, tourists will have chances to experience the magnificence of the ship.
